Chaffers Marina sits on Clyde Quay Wharf, in the sheltered corner of Wellington harbour where the city meets the water. 184 berths, a boat lift, and a community of owners and live-aboard residents, with Te Papa, Waitangi Park and Oriental Bay all a few minutes’ walk from the gate.
Step off your boat and you are in the middle of the capital: markets and supermarkets for provisioning, cafés and theatres for the evening, and the waterfront promenade running past the marina all the way into town.

Own
A licence to occupy your own berth: an asset on Wellington’s waterfront. Annual fees from $5,608.
Rent
Casual or long term berth rentals across the marina. Long term from $793 per month.
Visit
Visitor berths in the middle of the city, from $62 per night including water.
Commercial & Oversized
Commercial operations and vessels beyond our standard 20 m berths, arranged case by case with the office, including tender berths for visiting superyachts.
Open to every berth type, with approval from the office.
Every vessel needs current insurance, an EWoF if connecting to power, and proof of a clean hull or recent antifoul.
